Welcome

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) become critical components in bringing new paradigms in the modern world. Our primary research interests focus on the intersection of AI and sensor technologies in the areas of the next-generation millimeter-wave and sub THz wireless system, wireless power transfer, electromagnetic-wave imaging system, vehicle-to-everything, adaptive RF front-ends, system-on-package, and biomedical electronics. Members in the lab will be equipped with knowledge, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience through intensive research activities. Motivated graduate and undergraduate students are welcome to contact us.

July 1, 2023 Martin, Feras, and Zach published a journal paper titled "A Compact Ultra-Wideband Monocone Antenna with Folded Shorting Wires for Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) Applications" to Sensors.
June 5, 2023 Feras successfully defended his PhD dissertation. Congratulations!
March 13, 2023 Feras has published a journal paper titled "Snow Depth Measurements with Ultra-Wideband Compact FMCW Radar on a small Unmanned Aircraft System" to IEEE Journal of Radio Frequency Identification.
March 9, 2023 Feras was selected as a recipient of the Alabama Society of Professional Engineers (ASPE) Graduate Student Engineer of the Year. Congratulations!
